Tayce x Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special
In November 2024, Tayce was announced as a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special, becoming the first drag artist to compete on the BBC series. Paired with professional dancer Kai Widdrington, Tayce brought her performance background and signature style to the ballroom for the festive special, marking a significant moment for drag representation on mainstream British television.
It’s an incredible honour to be the first drag artist to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. I hope I do all of my Drag Race and Welsh fans proud.

The appearance went on to become an even bigger milestone, with Tayce and Kai winning the Christmas Special after receiving four 10s for their Cha-Cha-Cha to “100 Degrees” by Kylie and Dannii Minogue. The win was covered by BBC News, The Independent and other national publications, cementing Tayce’s place in Strictly history.
